Septic systems are common across Pasco and Hernando County, and a healthy septic system depends on healthy plumbing. Risers and lids are one of the most cost effective upgrades a septic tank owner can make. Florida tanks are often buried under inches of soil, sod, or even concrete pavers, and every future pump out requires that material to be moved. Installing risers that bring access lids to grade turns future pump outs from a half day excavation into a 15 minute job. Inlet and outlet baffles, effluent filters, and the tank pump out on a 3 to 5 year cadence (depending on household size) keep the system healthy and head off the kind of failure that becomes a drain field replacement years later.
