These are past examples of the work described, not a guaranteed quote. Each guide explains the sample, dates, discounts and any additional work. Your written proposal confirms the equipment, scope, applicable fees or tax, and total for your job.
Current service-call policy: standard diagnostics are $85, or $65 online, waived when you accept the repair proposal. Specialized diagnostics have separate rates; after-hours dispatch is $225 with repairs additional.
A faucet repair and a whole-house repipe are different jobs. So are installing a heater you supply and providing a new unit with the installation. Each guide keeps the range beside the work it describes, with the number of completed jobs and the scheduled period reviewed.
A service charge is not always the whole invoice. Access, permits, additional fixtures, and other work can change the total. We explain those differences and any discounts in the examples. Rounded planning ranges are identified, with the exact observed prices in the guide.
These selected jobs are not a complete list of everything we have done or a promise of a past price. Some guides use overlapping jobs where the same project involved more than one service. Your written proposal confirms the work and price for your property.
Quick answers from our expert plumbers. Still have a question? Call our team and a real person will pick up.
01Is the diagnostic fee waived if I approve the repair?
The standard diagnostic visit is $85, or $65 online, and is waived if you accept the repair proposal. Specialized services such as leak detection, tankless diagnostics, and softener diagnostics have their own prices. The $225 after-hours emergency dispatch fee covers dispatch only; repairs are additional.
02Are these the prices I will pay?
These planning ranges come from selected completed Farrell Plumbing jobs. Each guide explains the work reviewed, sample size, dates, and exact observed prices behind the range. A past price or discount is not a guaranteed current quote. The diagnosis, equipment, access, and work your property needs determine your written estimate.
03Why do some services need an inspection before you can give a price?
Some work needs an inspection to define the scope, and some jobs vary too much for one published number to be useful. We explain what affects the price and give you a written estimate before work begins.
04Does the price include every part of the project?
Read the scope and the included and separate items in the guide. Some reviewed prices are service charges; others are project totals with additional work. We explain that distinction, along with any discounts. Your written proposal lists the work included for your property.
05Does it matter who buys the equipment?
Yes. Installing a suitable water heater, toilet, or faucet you already own is different from supplying and installing a new unit. The comparison rows identify who supplies the equipment. Connections, access, permits, and the condition of existing plumbing still affect the total.
06Are the planning endpoints exact past invoices?
Some planning ranges are rounded outward from the reviewed prices to make budgeting easier. The guide gives the exact observed range and explains whether it uses service charges or whole invoices. A rounded endpoint is not an advertised starting price.
07Can I get a water heater or water filtration quote online?
