We reviewed the charged work in completed Housecall Pro jobs, not just job titles. These are selected examples, not a company-wide average. Planning ranges round outward around the reviewed scopes. Recorded discounts and undiscounted service charges help show the budget spread; a past discount is not a current offer. Unrelated work, unselected options and gratuities are excluded. Your written proposal confirms your equipment, work and price. The installation review covers 31 distinct usable jobs: 14 company-supplied 30–50 gallon electric tanks, nine customer-supplied electric installations, two warranty exchanges and six specialty installations. The standard-tank planning band includes a $1,710.62 discounted invoice at the low end and $3,872.50 of heater-related work before a job discount at the high end. These are different scopes, not a claim that changing tank capacity alone adds that amount. Dates shown are scheduled dates on completed jobs.

One completed invoice after a $1,000 discount; $8,602.50 before that discount. Included the hybrid, stand, expansion tank, disconnect and permit. Gratuity excluded.

The fuel supply, electrical capacity, model, venting and installation location determine the work. A single completed example is not a universal installed price.
What changes the price at your property?
- Tank size, fuel type, model, and warranty package.
- A straightforward replacement versus changing to tankless, gas, or a heat-pump unit.
- Permit requirements, expansion control, shutoff valves, drain pans, and existing connections.
- Electrical, gas-line, venting, condensate, or access work needed for the new unit.
What the work covers.
- The new heater only when the option says Farrell-supplied.
- Installation, removal and other work as stated in the selected proposal.
- Permit handling, expansion tanks and connection work when listed; the reviewed jobs included different combinations.
What may be separate.
- The purchase price of a heater you supply yourself.
- Unlisted electrical-service upgrades, gas piping, venting, relocation or finished-surface repairs.
- A promise that every past discount or every reviewed inclusion applies to your home.
Before you approve the work.
Make sure your written proposal explains the diagnosis, the work included, any separate items, and the total price. If something is unclear, ask. We want you to understand your options before you decide.
